Lindley bids farewell to Gert Bekker and his family

Gert and Liesl relocated to Johannesburg earlier this year with the idea of maintaining their home here in Lindley as a weekend gettaway.  Unfortunately, with the hussle and bussle of city life they have sold their home here in Lindley and they packed up at the end of April.  Gert will be sorely missed as he was not only the local estate agent, but also the chairman of the rugby and tennis clubs.  He was also involved in numerous other charitable causes.  Their home has been purchased by Dieter and his family who intend to be regular weekend visitors to lindley.
