Lindley International Health Seminar 13 - 15 November 2009
Madison House will be hosting the Lindley International Health Seminar from 13 - 15 November 2009. The guest speakers are Dr Don Miller and Gerhard Pienaar. Dr Miller is a Naturopath based at Uchee Pines in the United States. He will be speaking on the causes of disease and how to overcome disease with the use of natural alternatives. Art Exhibition - Tuesday 18th August 2009 at 17:30
De Oude Kunstgalerij from Port Elizabeth will be hosting an art exhibition at Craven Cottage, 8 Rautenbach St, on Tuesday 18th August 2009 at 17:30. There will be a cocktail party and works of art will be on sale, a percentage of which will go to the Morsjorsie nursery school. Tickets cost R10 and there is a lucky draw. Womens Rugby Day - 10th August 2009

Lindley Rugby Club
Lindley made the semi finals of the Eastern Free State B league on 11th July 2009 and were narrowly beaten by Bethlehem Collegians. According to Gert Bekker, the Lindley Rugby Club Chairman, there was a huge turnout of supporters to spur their team on. The day ended off with a party at the Yeomanry Arms in the evening.

During the festival 33 aspirant filmmakers were trained in the basic skills of conceptualization, scriptwriting, filming and editing and completed a 3 minute shortfilm. Al die feesgangers en inwoners van Lindley is dit eens dat die Lindley Riemland Kuierfees van April 2008 sommer regtig lekker was! Die hekke het die Vrydag reeds om 10h00 geopen en sommer gou het besoekers opgedaag. Die krieketveld was in ‘n perdeskoen-vorm omring met stalletjies waar kopers kon kies-en-keur. Lees verder |

Op Saterdag 12 Januarie 2008 om 2uur het Die Lindley Tennisklub weer amptelik hulle tennishekke oopgemaak. Daar was amper 30 spelers teenwoordig en die drie bruikbare bane was tot sononder toe vol met dubbels- en gemengde dubbelsspelle. Lees verder |
